The shower recess accessory bracket allows shower recess accessories to be added to a waterproofed area so that the membrane is not compromised or penetrated during that item’s installation. Types of accessories may include glazing brackets, handrails, soap holders and shower rails.
Recess Accessory Bracket
The recess accessory bracket is installed after the substrate has been installed but before the waterproofing has been applied. This enables the recess accessories to be fixed to the wall later without penetrating the finished waterproofing. The accessory fixing bracket serves as a placeholder and receptacle for the fixing screws, allowing these items to be installed effectively, while protecting and maintaining the integrity of the waterproofing.
