The channel and grate flanges are designed to provide an off-the-shelf drop in waterproofing channel when a channel and grate waste system is being used. Space is made into the flooring substrate to simply drop the channel into position. The channel is then fixed, sealed and waterproofed. The waste trap can now be connected directly to the channel.. The channel becomes the leak control flange and provides under-tile drainage provision.
